This little peasant top is another great beginner pattern. For an experienced sewist, this is an hour project. I ended up cutting down the neckline elastic 7 inches from the patterns recommended size. ✂ Please note: I added two inches in length to this pattern. You can never have enough scrunchies! I find that almost every project I make I will have a scrap the right size to make scrunchie to match. This is a great beginner project. Lengthen the fabric strip for a more gathered scrunchie. Reduce the elastic length for a tighter scrunchie. To make the size I did you need: a strip of fabric 22" by 3" 1/4" wide elastic 9" long
