McCalls 7323 - Another favorite pattern!

Image
I love this pattern for a t-shirt with a little something extra. It fits great and is simple to make. A good one for sewists of any level! Change it up by using coordinating fabrics or a stripe that gets matched at the front seam.  👆  Check out my TeeSpring shop! 👆 I have mugs too

Revisiting Old Projects and A Crazy Easter Weekend

Image
This year is just so different. I love all holidays and family time. Easter is so special. I remember making beautiful satin and organza dresses for my little girls. We call this picture "grumpy babies." It is one of our favorites. These little princesses had had enough of their dad's teasing and you can see it all over those furrowed brows.  Just give us the candy already!  This week's vlog is short with a plot twist at the end! I sure missed traditional Easter this year...

Easy T-shirt Dress - Sew With Me

Image
This fast project takes a t-shirt you already have and about a half yard of fabric depending on the size. For this dress, I used a size 10/12 child's t-shirt and a half yard of 60" wide knit fabric. Options: If you choose to use a cotton woven fabric you will need the skirt length twice for this size or larger to get enough gathers. A baby size could literally use a 1/4 yard of fabric or less. This project only took about 30 minutes. TeeSpring Shop

A Little Bit of Everything!

Image
While we all do our best to social distance I am trying to get videos up a bit faster. This one is just what we are up to.  I have to admit it is easy to lose track of time and not be productive.  There is a bit of cooking, sewing, gaming, and essential oils all in this video. The next video will be back to sewing!  TeeSpring Shop Get your own essential oils
