I have hardly ever worn foundation as an adult. It didn't matter what I chose it sat on my skin looking like a mask or crept into every little line and wrinkle emphasizing what I wanted to downplay.  Dry skin didn't make the issue any better. Plus I have sensitive skin and most makeup would make my skin burn and rash.  I have been a lipstick and mascara girl forever out of necessity. I owned way more skin care products than makeup.   WELL! Then Savvy Minerals happened.  I had no bad reactions at all. Give me all the makeup! This was so exciting. I do still have dry skin however and powder makeup on dry skin needs lots of moisture. Here is my hack. Take your favorite YL moisturizer and sprinkle in Savvy Minerals Foundation.  I am currently using Sandalwood Moisturizer and Cool #1 foundation.  If you need a bit more coverage once you have applied the moisturizer you can layer more of the powder.

I try to add a new product with my monthly order whenever possible. Most months I have so many needs that I can only fit one new item. This month I was able to get two! I love them both! Let's talk about lipstick.  I love lipstick. Often, it's the only makeup I wear along with mascara. The thing is,  I'm getting older and have trouble with many lipsticks feathering, but not the Cinnamint Infused Lipstick. I ordered Untamed.  It is my new favorite and I will be ordering more colors next month.  So here it is on with no other makeup, my usual look. I'm fair complected, and this is a great winter color for me.  Another product used daily in our home is the lavender lotion. It goes a long way and so nourishing to the skin.  I was getting ready to order another bottle when I thought I have never even tried any of the other options. WELL, the Genesis lotion is great! I love the light scent and how far a little dab goes. I am so glad I ventured...

Here is my 47-year-old self with my "Fast Face" makeup.  I have seen such an amazing difference in my skin, hair, and health since I kicked the toxic products.  What I am wearing:  Art Renewal serum goes on under my makeup "Smashing" on my cheeks "Residual" all over lid color "Crushin" accent lid color on the bone and outer corner of the eye (for a more dramatic look I like "diffused" for the accent and "Crushing for the allover lid" I lined my lips by using the misting spray and blush!  "Wish"   lipstick "Abundant" Lipgloss I seldom wear foundation but I still love the Veil "Diamond Dust" Here is my naked 47-year-old face! I was so fortunate to have a YL Beauty School where I live! I couldn't let this opportunity pass.  The tables had some of the products we would use for a little spa pampering. On registration night, we got to pick out our lovely boxes and pick up all the great products that would go in them. This is the box I chose.  The Beauty Book! It is like a beauty school how-to. This is my product bundle before I opened it. Oh, the suspense! There are different products each time. My box all kitted out! See that full-size Art Renewal Serum? One of my most favorite products. I was so happy!  There are samples of Sheerlume, toner, sandalwood creme, a multitasker from the Savvy Minerals line along with a misting spray... Here is a mask my college-age daughter has been making. She has sensitive, blemish-prone skin and lots of allergies. We have seen her skin improve and brighten with this mask she created. Ingredients:  a bag of green tea fresh aloe vera  jojoba oil Young Living Essential Beauty Serum Empty the Contents of the tea bag into a bowl and add 4 tablespoons hot water. Next, add about 2 tsp of jojoba oil and stir in. Cut the Aloe into pieces to clean out the gel and juice. Don't throw away the skins of the Aloe! You will need them in a bit.  Drop in 1-2 drops of the  Beauty Serum and stir it all together.    Soak the mask in your mixture Let it sit for a few minutes. If you are my friend and know anything about Young Living I have told you how great the Essential Rewards program is. It is the easiest, fastest way to build your oily stash.  This is part of my stash. I have the bathroom items in a linen closet, and diffusers, and boxed items in my office closet. Most of it was FREE with the monthly promotion. Essential Rewards is free to participate in once you are a member. It gives back points to spend on items. The one requirement is you order at least 50 PV a month. It isn't hard to do. Especially if you are actually using your oils.  I started replacing my old toxin-laden household items with safe ones from YL.
