Spring Rolls for the Win!

This fresh light spring roll helps me stay on track and in my daily points. The recipe is super easy! I make a bunch and pack them with parchment paper between so I can snack for days or take them for lunch.  Spring Roll Recipe (1-2 points each) Spring Roll Wrappers (1 point each) Broccoli Slaw (0 points) Cole Slaw salad mix (0 points) Grilled or boiled chicken (0 points) R ice vermicelli (optional, 1 point for about .5 oz) Cilantro (this can be left out for those who don't like it) Here you can see my set up at my parent's house. I always roll on a wooden cutting board. If you look closely, you can see I bought pre-cooked chicken strips, and bagged salad. Saved loads of time chopping and cooking. I keep a skillet with hot water to soften the wrappers and set up my ingredients to make it convenient. Working quickly, first precooked vermicelli noodles, then the slaw mixes, and a strip of chicken and one or two cilantro leaves. Try to keep it in a lo

The best part of these Rallies is we get special quick order promotions and a sneak peek of what is coming! If you haven't already heard, here they are! Drum Roll...  BLUE TANSY!!!  WHAT?!? Blue Tansy is a coveted and rare plant and YL has chosen not to harvest or distill in any large amount until they could make it more sustainable. If you know anything about YL it is they are a do no harm company. They do all they can to protect the environment while providing the best product possible.  That's not all! Ending on JANUARY 16th, lemongrass and orange 5ml are 10% off for quick order only! And finally, my favorite, RutaVala Roll-on. This is my family's favorite for restless nights. I have been hoarding my last little bit until now!  All of these items are for quick order only, while supplies last. The Blue Tansy and RuTaVala are not ava

Green Tea Face Masks Or Sheet Masks Take Two

Image
Here is a mask my college-age daughter has been making. She has sensitive, blemish-prone skin and lots of allergies. We have seen her skin improve and brighten with this mask she created. Ingredients:  a bag of green tea fresh aloe vera  jojoba oil Young Living Essential Beauty Serum Empty the Contents of the tea bag into a bowl and add 4 tablespoons hot water. Next, add about 2 tsp of jojoba oil and stir in. Cut the Aloe into pieces to clean out the gel and juice. Don't throw away the skins of the Aloe! You will need them in a bit.  Drop in 1-2 drops of the  Beauty Serum and stir it all together.    Soak the mask in your mixture Let it sit for a few minutes. It should cool down before you put it on your face.  She makes her mask, showers then applies the mask to her warm clean skin.  Before applying, she rubs the aloe skins on her face then applies the mask.  She is a super good sport for letting me take her picture. 💚

DIY Sheet Masks

Sheet masks are everywhere in every price range. I have found they can be an amazing addition to a beauty routine.  The best one I have ever used is this one. It is the ART Beauty Masque from Young Living. My skin looked amazing after using it. The mask (masque) is actually quite large and you can trim off the excess and apply it to your neck!  So why make your own when there are so many available? Price and targeted support! Why would you want to use a sheet mask? They are easy, not too messy, can be done at home, and really do nourish your skin if you choose the right ingredients!  Here is how it works. Buy dry, plain sheet masks. The ones in the picture are from Diaso. They can be ordered from Amazon for $6.45 for a dozen. I think I paid about half that at the store. These masks feel like fabric and are made of cotton. Start with a clean face. I seldom use a foundation and my favorite way to clean my face at the end of the day is with Young Livings Seedlings
