Mini Dress Form Makeover

Image
Meet my half-scale dress form! She gets a long-needed makeover in this week's video. She needs a name to go with her new look. Please leave a comment with a name suggestion.  You can look forward to some patternmaking videos in the future. I am planning a series of tutorials on flat pattern design and draping.  Get ready to level up your sewing game!

Simplicity 9017- Pants

Image
Simple and fashionable is just my style! This Simplicity pattern is a great beginner pattern but looks interesting and current.  This week I make the pants, next week the top. I added a little pocket for my phone too, because pants without pockets... Nope.

Simplicity 9012 Easy Breezy Dress

Image
Let's make a transitional dress (or top)! Simplicity 9012 is a loosely fitted raglan sleeve pattern with an elastic neck and sleeve at the elbow. It is soft, flowy, and easy to wear. I made the view A dress with the View B sleeve. This is another easy project but the interesting details make it look designer! I made the belt and I show it on, but I won't likely be wearing it. I think I look like a sack of potatoes tied in the middle, to quote my grandmother. :) Timestamps in the Youtube description   This is another fast and easy project, but it doesn't look like it.  Sewing With Stacy Facebook Page YouTube Channel
