Butterick 6031 - Slip Tutorial

  Step-by-step tutorial on this lovely slip plus lots of tips are in store this week! I cut double layers for the cups for a more secure bra area. This pattern comes in cup sizes too! Butterick 4685 ~ Sew With Me ~ Easy Beginner Top

This little peasant top is another great beginner pattern. For an experienced sewist, this is an hour project. I ended up cutting down the neckline elastic 7 inches from the patterns recommended size. ✂ Please note: I added two inches in length to this pattern. Raglan Sleeved Baby Dress - Sew with Me

Last time I showed you the basics of applique, this week we sew it all together!  The project is a flannel baby dress and bloomers with ladybug applique. The bloomers will be the next video! Sew with me as we make a complete dress. This is a simple and easy style. Even though I am making an infant-sized dress, this style pattern can be found in all sizes and the information is the same. Sew with Me ~ Embroidered Net Dress

This is one of my favorite projects I've made this year.  In the video, I make the entire dress and chat a lot.   🔽   Sew along with me in the video below! 🔽 In this video, I show how to cut the different layers of the dress, laying out the border print along hemlines, box pleats, underling, lining, invisible zipper, pocket installation, French seams, overlock seams, and bias binding. A few details about this project: ~pattern: Butterick 6415 ~fabric from JoAnn's Fabric, lace embroidered netting, polyester lining, polyester crepe (underlining) ~I used the decorative edge of the net lace to finish the sleeve and hem and back neckline ~Sewing machine: Bernina 770QE ~Overlock/Serger: Bernina 334DS I've worn this dress twice so far.
