Essential Oil Roller Ball Purse Kit

Image
Rollerball bottles are the easiest way to apply oils. Especially on the go. That is why I made this purse kit with some of my favorite on the go blends.    I bought a box of tins and 6 sets of the colored metal roller bottles. I liked the gold lids with the gold lettering I  made on my silhouette cameo 3. The tin holds six 10 ml bottles easily.  ↑ Here is what I put in my Focus blend.  This is what I use when I feel scatterbrained and need to get things done. It is also our main go-to for school. Breathe says it all.  ↑ My favorite for sinus support all year round.  ⬆ Chill, this is another I take on trips.  This helps me relax when sleeping in away from home, and move on when things don't go as planned.  ↑ I'm not as young as I used to be, and my body reminds often. 😜 The Move blend is invigorating and relaxing, just what I need after a strenuous workout, walking all day, ...

DIY Make & Take Kit from Young Living

Image
Have you seen the new DIY Kits from Young Living? Talk about an easy way to do a fun class. This is the Kit!  It has everything (but the oils) to make 6 each of lip balm, lotion and a spray. They also get a copy of "Essential Oils" Magazine!  I have my colorful pens for writing on the labels and some oils pictured too. Below, is my table mid-setup. I put one kit at each place setting and displayed the empty boxes with a flower arrangement in the middle. Here is one person's kit at their place. The flowers were chosen to coordinate with the colors of the kit.  Always diffuse something yummy! This time it was  Excite blend. I think it was a special blend and no longer available. BUT it has citrus and spearmint in it. It is zippy and happy and great for a party! By the diffuser, I had the base products ready. The lip balm needs to be softened. I did that by setting the entire jar with the lid on it in ...

Make Take and Scan Class with

Image
This weekend a friend and I did a "make and take" class with a twist. While I helped with the projects, she did Itovi scans.  We had six ladies attend and it went smoothly with a few at each station and one being scanned.  Here are the creation stations: Purification room spray (in the kitchen) Thieves foaming hand soap Fruit and cheese trays, plus fruit infused water (it's still in the fridge) pitcher with fresh fruit and ice. I also get out my Ningxia bottle during the party and offer it to any who want to try. It is such an amazing juice that supports our whole system.  Peppermint sugar scrub in the dining room. Lavender bath salt in the dining room. I put a dish towel at each station because life is messy. I also set up a little demo of what to do with your empties, my foaming pods and a few products to try like the lavender lotion.  The top bags are the door prizes. A thieves cleaner (d...

Summer Essential Oil Recipes!

Here are three more recipes that I use all the time. The hair roll on is part of my everyday routine now!  These would be great for make and take classes too.   ___________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________

My Favorite Fluffy Face Formula

Image
I quit buying face cream a year ago. I never spent much on make up but I did invest in all kinds of anti-wrinkle, stop aging type creams.   Once I began paying attention to what was in those products I decided to make my own. I am still using the same jar nearly 11 months later and its 1/3 full. Over the year I have saved hundreds of dollars from using my little cream. Here is the basic recipe.   There are so many essential oils that are good for our skin. Some I didn't include are bergamot, clary sage, lavender, and sandalwood.  Carrier oil options are abundant! I only listed a few of the easiest to access.

Essential Oil Make and Take Roller-Ball Class

Image
Here are a few pictures of my class set-up. I bought glass roller ball bottles at Amazon . I like the ones with the metal ball. I put the lids and rollers in a crystal dish 'cause its pretty. The little green drawstring bags are to put the rollers in when they are finished. The ladies chose a gift bag color and put all the finished items and the recipe cards in to take home.  The crocheted bag contains the oils for the class (another blog on these bags later!). I color coordinated the recipe and bottles.   Pink - pain blend, Blue/Purple - Relax, and Green - Focus We also made a fall scented room spray in the brown spray bottles.  My recipe cards are printed on index card paper Avery 8387. Aren't these pretty? I love sparkle and color! The labels are clear printable Avery 18695. I put them on ahead of time while the bottles and my hands were oil free.  This is my first periscope (scary) about the class.  A few minutes ...
