Parts of the Sewing Machine and Threading


Let's learn the names of the parts of the machine and how to thread it up.
This is a basic tutorial on two different machines with traditional style bobbins. 


Here you can see the size difference between the two machines! 


I didn't label the feed dogs because there just wasn't room, but they are the jagged teeth below the presser foot on both machines. 



The spool pin is on the back of this machine.

I did a post for my private Facebook group recently on Thyroid support. That little thyroid sure does affect every part of our bodies! I personally have Hashimoto Thyroiditis. Purification spray to keep the odors away!

I made Purification spray today! It is just the right thing for sneakers, teen boy rooms, refreshing throw pillows, stale rooms and so much more! Here is how to make your own. Put 1 tsp baking soda in your bottle then fill nearly full with hot water from the tap. Put on the top and shake to dissolve the baking soda. Open back up and put in 10-20 drops of purification and shake again. My bottle was 4 oz so 15 drops was just right. I have made other room sprays with this same technique and different oils.
