Satin Stitch Applique Basics



In the video below I show a step by step tutorial on how to satin stitch applique. You will see the preparation, the materials needed, machine settings, and dos and don'ts.  If you click through to watch on YouTube there a are timestamps in the description. 

 The project is a flannel baby dress and bloomers with ladybug applique.

  ~Sewing machine: Bernina 770QE
 ~ Pattern: Butterick 6549
  ~Thread: 60 weight cotton for the bobbin, polyester embroidery thread for the 
      top.

I did a post for my private Facebook group recently on Thyroid support. That little thyroid sure does affect every part of our bodies! I personally have Hashimoto Thyroiditis. My Version of the Aroma Lift Massage

Be Kind. I know I am not a super model. I simply don't know of a better way to explain the massage than to show you.  So here it is.  What's the big deal? For me it is an overall smooth youthful appearance. I'm less puffy and my skin seems brighter and tighter. But the biggest thing I have noticed is how it helps with the stiffness I would feel in the back of my neck and along my clavicle. When I feel congested or the beginning of a sinus headache this really helps too!  More info below the video. Remember be gentle!
