Let's Make a T-shirt with Lace Sleeves

It is spring and I want cute new clothes! This week I made a floral t-shirt with lace sleeves. So make some tea and sew with me! 


A few details about this project:

  • pattern: Vogue 9057 (Marcy Tilton R10066)
  • fabric from JoAnn's Fabric
  • I used the decorative edge of the lace to finish the sleeve instead of hemming it.
  • Sewing machine: Bernina 770QE
  • Overlock/Serger: Bernina 334DS

I did a post for my private Facebook group recently on Thyroid support. That little thyroid sure does affect every part of our bodies! I personally have Hashimoto Thyroiditis. Purification spray to keep the odors away!

I made Purification spray today! It is just the right thing for sneakers, teen boy rooms, refreshing throw pillows, stale rooms and so much more! Here is how to make your own. Put 1 tsp baking soda in your bottle then fill nearly full with hot water from the tap. Put on the top and shake to dissolve the baking soda. Open back up and put in 10-20 drops of purification and shake again. My bottle was 4 oz so 15 drops was just right. I have made other room sprays with this same technique and different oils.
